b2b terms of service

Effective October 19, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Keya LLC ("Keya", "we") for b2b: b2b for Mac, the b2b phone app, the website at b2b.keya.dev and the demo at demo.b2b.keya.dev. By using b2b you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use b2b.

1. Who can use b2b

You must be 18 or older.

2. What b2b does, and where your music stays

b2b organizes a DJ's own music library, prepares playlists, and plays that library on the DJ's own devices.

Your music files stay in your own cloud storage and on your devices. b2b's servers never receive, store or relay them. The only audio that reaches them is voice you dictate, which is transcribed and discarded. Playback and downloads go straight from your storage to the device that plays them, and the apps analyze and convert audio on your own devices.

Our servers do hold what features need. That is your account and, while you are signed in, your playlists and their versions, the tag changes waiting to reach your DJ software, a copy of your library's track details for the assistants you connect, and Ask's questions and answers. For a share link, they hold the titles, artists, keys, tempos, artwork and storage links its page shows. The privacy policy lists all of it.

The demo plays short excerpts of tracks released under CC0, a public-domain dedication, which b2b serves itself. They are the only audio b2b serves.

3. Your account

Signing in is optional. If you do, keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@keya.dev if you think someone else has used it.

4. Your library and your music

You keep every right you have in your music, your library and your playlists. We claim none of it.

You are responsible for having the right to use the files in your library. b2b does not sell, license or supply music.

b2b can write changes to your DJ software's library, such as tags you approve. Before it writes, it makes a backup it can restore. Keep your own backups as well; section 13 limits what we owe if data is lost.

5. Share links

A share link is a page that shows a track or a playlist you choose and lets the people you send it to listen. You create each link; b2b does not.

When you create a link you promise that:

You give Keya a non-exclusive license to store and display the titles, credits, artwork and preview image for a link, on that link's page and in the previews that messaging apps make from it. The license ends when the link is turned off.

We may turn off any link, at any time, including when we receive a copyright notice about it. Turning off a link does not delete anything in your cloud storage.

6. What you may not do

7. Copyright complaints and repeat infringers

We respond to notices that follow the process in our copyright policy. In appropriate circumstances, we close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe and turn off their links.

8. Other companies' services

b2b works with services run by other companies, including Dropbox, DJ software such as rekordbox, music stores, the platforms you publish mixes to, and AI assistants you connect to your account. Your use of each is under that company's own terms. b2b is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them, and their names and marks belong to them.

When b2b shows where a track can be bought, the purchase is between you and the store.

9. Voice and AI features

Ask, voice tagging and playlist suggestions use AI models. Their answers can be wrong. b2b shows you what a change would do before it is made. Check it before you approve it.

10. Price

b2b is in early access, and we don't charge for it. Some features, such as Ask and voice, may be limited or turned on only for some accounts. If we start charging, we will show the price, and how renewal and cancellation work, before you pay anything, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

11. Changes to b2b and to these terms

We may change or remove features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we update this page and its date, and where we can, we tell you in the app or by email before the change applies. Using b2b after that means you accept the change.

12. No warranty

b2b is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, Keya disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that b2b will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a mix or transition will sound the way you want, or that a third-party service it relies on will stay available or compatible.

13. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Keya is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or a lost or damaged music library. Keya's total liability for all claims about b2b is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose and US $100. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

14. Your responsibility to us

If someone brings a claim against Keya because of music or other content you shared, or because you broke these terms or the law, you will cover Keya's losses and reasonable legal costs from that claim.

15. Ending the agreement

You can stop using b2b at any time, and delete your account in the phone app under Settings, Account, or on the website under Options, Account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, including after repeated copyright notices. Section 5 (the license, until your links are off) and sections 12 to 17 continue after the agreement ends.

16. Disputes

If you have a problem with b2b, write to us at support@keya.dev first and give us 30 days to resolve it.

17. The rest

These terms and the policies they link to are the whole agreement between you and Keya about b2b. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term, we haven't given it up. You can't transfer this agreement; we can as part of a sale or reorganization.
